SUECO AGATES
El Sueco Agate comes from Rancho El Sueco in the Sierra del Gallego of Chihuahua. First collected commercially in the 1940s, these agates are known for their rounded nodules, brown outer rind, and beautiful gray-blue chalcedony with contrasting bands of color.
When cut and polished, El Sueco can reveal intricate fortification patterns, colorful banding, and sometimes small cavities lined with botryoidal chalcedony. Each piece has its own unique pattern hidden inside.
